SEAM Europe
SEAM Europe is the regional Council of the SEAM Secretariat global network advancing a practical standard for measuring and improving equity in the built environment across Europe.
What we do
SEAM Europe helps projects, institutions, and professionals apply the SEAM Standard so that buildings and developments perform better for the people they affect. As a regional Council we deliver local training, region-specific resources, and guidance while working with the SEAM Secretariat to maintain consistent accreditation and quality across the network. SEAM Europe supports applied education and practice by connecting universities, practitioners, and project teams to the SEAM Standard and the SEAM AP credential.

Melina Gorrebeeck, Director
Melina is an expert in social value in real estate, working at the intersection of psychology, neuroscience, and the built environment. Through her work with Lammp and Think Ahead, she supports public and private stakeholders in creating buildings and communities that go beyond functionality—spaces that genuinely enhance well-being, resilience, and social cohesion.
Her mission is to redefine the value of real estate—not just in financial terms, but through its measurable social impact. Whether during the design phase of new developments or when activating existing spaces, she believes in evidence-based design, community-driven strategies, and the power of intentional choices to help people thrive.

Our mission is to help real estate make a positive impact on the world
